When radio host Elvis Duran fulfilled his dream of playing a corpse on Law & Order: SVU, it was under one condition: no nipples allowed.

Duran, the longtime host of iHeartMedia’s Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, opened up about his cameo on a 2021 episode of the long-running NBC series on The Tonight Show Monday.

The star said it “was always a dream of mine to be dead on this show” — but revealed that he had a major stipulation in agreeing to be on camera.

“I had a rule. I said, ‘You got to bring the blanket above the nipples,’” he told host Jimmy Fallon. “I had a nipple clause.”

Duran, 59, played a character named Paul Landry in the episode “Trick-Rolled at the Moulin,” in which appeared briefly in a scene with star Mariska Hargitay set in a morgue.

He said while it took two-and-a-half hours to get through hair and makeup, he enjoyed his time on set, as the crew made him laugh.

“The people who did the makeup, they were kind of funny,” he recalled. “‘You should’ve been here yesterday. We had to do a girl who fell off a bridge 45 stories.’ I’m like, what did that look like?”

Duran also joked that despite having no lines, he still found the role challenging.

“You have to hold your breath,” he said. “And they kept messing up their lines. So I’d be like, ‘Damn it!’ It was weird because, I mean, they had to make my extremities blue, and it was weird. I don’t know. I never want to do it again.”

Appearing as a corpse on true crime shows is a surprisingly coveted gig for stars. Questlove portrayed a dead body in a 2014 episode of SVU, while Taylor Swift once starred as a murder victim in a 2009 episode of CSI.
