Sir Elton John showed off his massive heart in an uplifting new music video that puts some badly-needed hope into the world.

The visuals for “A Good Heart,” a track from his latest album Wonderful Crazy Night, is a celebration of love in all its forms. The video features friends, family, and couples of many different races, ages, and sexual orientations. It also marks John’s first appearance in his own music video in 11 years.

“It’s a good heart to be a part of,” John croons from behind the keys. The 69-year-old wears a “Love Bravery” heart pin – a nod to his clothing collaboration with Lady Gaga. Available through Macy’s, 25 percent of purchase price supports Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

The new video takes on a particular poignance in the wake of the devastating massacre at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, on June 12. The attack was the deadliest shooting in American history, leaving 49 dead and 53 others wounded.

John paid tribute to those affected by the atrocity two days later during a concert at the Liverpool Echo Arena.

“When a horror like this massacre in Orlando comes along, great agony crashes across the world like a tsunami. We feel shock, angry and we’re devastatingly sad for the people who died and for the loved ones who are mourning,” he said from the stage.

“What I find extraordinary, and what really gives me strength and hope, is that immediately behind that devastation came a different wave – a rainbow-colored wave of love and bravery. From Istanbul to Tel Aviv, from Sydney Opera House to the Eiffel Tower to the Empire State Building and the White House.”

Adding, “So tonight while I would like to honor and mourn the LGBT community’s loss in Orlando – and the loss of everyone who has been a victim of hate and stigma and dogma – I would like to say tonight that we are winning the fight against prejudice. Prejudice and darkness, because their rainbow wave around the world tells me we can and we will win against these people.”
