Ozzy Osbourne had plenty of health scares in 2019. So many that he had to delay his tour dates. However, Osbourne is planning a better year in 2020 with being back with his band, being around his fans, and making music again. Everything he enjoys in life.
According to wife, Sharon Osbourne, when she was asked on her television show, The Talk she said, “A lot of good things. Wellness. And to get back with his band, to get doing what he loves, which is touring and being out there with his fans. And yes, there’s new music, and it’s great. He’s got all his friends playing on it. He’s doing a song with Elton. There’s so much good stuff.”
Elton John and Ozzy Osbourne have been friends for many decades now. According to the rock singer, Osbourne, Elton was always a good friend who knew what to say to get him to do what needed to be done. Osbourne said, “Elton told me to get off the couch and start walking, which was what I needed, as I couldn’t move off it for months."
“He was right. Elton is a sweetheart. He has phoned me throughout all this. He was at the house the other day with his two boys. They are great kids. They are such a good family. You would be surprised. When you are feeling miserable, you find out who is a friend and who doesn’t give a shit.”
Ozzy's health problems caused him to cancel five of his shows during the UK and the European part of his tour. However, after he worked with Post Malone on his Hollywood's Bleeding album, he then worked alongside Travis Scott on his single, Take What You Want, he was then inspired and ready to work on his own solo album, making it the first one for him in the past ten years.
It is not known whether or not John's and Osbourne's song together will appear on his new album, Ordinary Man or if it will be a separate release altogether since his wife didn't specify that.
The new album by Osbourne, Ordinary Man was actually produced by the man who Post Malone often works on music with, Andrew Watt. Ordinary Man has already released two singles and the full album is set to release fully in February.
There are a few more guests appearing in songs with Ozzy Osbourne. They include a couple of Guns 'N Roses band members such as the famous Slash and Duff McKagen. Also, collaborating with new music with Osbourne is Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer, Chad Smith.
The new album of Osbourne's that will be released in February, Orindary Man was recorded in Los Angeles while Ozzy was on the mend from a fall he had in his bedroom. Andrew Watt is on guitar, _Gun 'N_Roses member, Duff McKagan is on bass, and Red hot Chili Peppers drummer, Chad Smith is of course on the drums for Osbourne's album as well.
Ozzy said about the new album, “This album was a gift from my higher power - it is proof to me that you should never give up."
The two singles of the new album that have been released so far include Straight to Hell and Under the Graveyard. The recent single to be released, Straight to Hell includes Slash from Guns 'N Roses on guitar.
_Straight to Hell_premiered yesterday, January 6, with which the video shows Osbourne sing the tracks among fiery riots.
