Ellwood City Fall Fest and Car Cruise set for Saturday
ELLWOOD CITY ― Come to the Fall Fest and Car Cruise on Saturday to experience the last big bash in town before the fall season begins.
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Lawrence Ave will once again be shut down to make room for the festivities.
Enjoy seeing hundreds of cars on both sides of Lawrence Avenue and over 70 vendors of all kinds will be set up from Fourth Street and Lawrence Avenue to Sixth Street and Lawrence.
The family-friendly event includes clothing boutiques, jewelry vendors, quality craft vendors, kids games, service clubs and local booster groups, and many different food trucks and entertainment.
Event sponsor McElwain Motors will once again be offering a free pumpkin decorating tent at the Ninth Street parking lot.
This year, the event will be extending past 11th Street to include and promote Napleton's.
The Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce will be selling new Fall Fest and Car Cruise T-shirts and hooded sweatshirts at its table outside of the chamber office on Lawrence Avenue.
The popular event brings car cruisers from all over who begin showing up as early as sunrise to get their parking spot on Lawrence Avenue as parking spots are first come, first served.
Entertainment schedule:
11 a.m., RMS Trio at Lawrence Avenue and Ninth Street.
2 p.m., The Leftovers at Lawrence Avenue and Ninth
11 a.m., Wine and Spirit at the Ellwood City Community Plaza -
2 p.m., Morgan Gruber at the community plaza
DJ Franco will be spinning his music at Burger King

Any quality car may come to this event to be displayed. No advance registration is required.
Goodie bags will be handed out by the Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce and 400 dash plaques will be handed out sponsored by Signs by Sam.
