Ellen Grills J.Lo About Her Relationship With A-Rod
The newest it couple people can’t get enough of is actress Jennifer Lopez and former Yankee star Alex Rodriguez, so when J.Lo stopped by Ellen, DeGeneres took the opportunity to grill her about her relationship.
Ellen, who told Lopez to spare no details, asked how the couple met and ended up dating. “I was having lunch somewhere and I saw him and he passed by,” Lopez began, before Ellen cut in to ask, “What were you eating? I want to see the whole scenario.” After Lopez said she was having a cobb salad and tortilla soup, she got back to the details everyone wanted. “I saw him walk by, and then afterward I went outside, but for some reason I just felt like tapping him on the shoulder and saying hi and I said, ‘Hi, Alex,’ and he was like, ‘Hi, Jennifer,’ and I was like yeah and then that was it. That was it.”
So maybe it’s not the most adorable meet-cute you’ve ever heard of, but three months into their relationship, rumors are circulating that the two are already talking marriage, so we’re guessing the first date must have gone pretty well.
