Ellen confronts Kate McKinnon about her 'SNL' impression

Kate McKinnon and Mila Kunis visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Ellen took time out of the interview to confront McKinnon about her impression of DeGeneres on Saturday Night Live. McKinnon was featured in a Jurassic Park audition tape sketch. In it, McKinnon played “’90s Ellen” auditioning for the role of Dr. Sattler.

On Ellen, DeGeneres contended that she never looked that way. She said she never had her hair styled the way McKinnon’s was on SNL and would have never worn a vest at the same time as having short hair.

That is, until her producers put up photos of DeGeneres during her sitcom days, wearing an almost carbon copy of McKinnon’s SNL wardrobe.

Kunis couldn’t help but speak up, saying, “Um, Ellen. I say this as a friend. it’s pretty damn close, girlfriend.”

Ellen DeGeneres also insisted that Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue, the gold medal-winning Canadian ice dancing pair, are a couple.
