Elle Fanning's Boyfriend Gus Wenner Shares Sunny Photo to Celebrate Her 26th Birthday

Elle Fanning turned 26 to a fanfare from loved ones, including boyfriend Gus Wenner.

In a birthday tribute to the actress on Tuesday, April 9, Wenner shared a selfie of the couple out on the water on a boat. Elle sported a Rolling Stone baseball cap in support of her beau, who is the outlet's CEO.

"Happy birthday to my 💙," Wenner wrote in the caption, as Fanning commented, "My sweet baby."

While it's unclear when Elle and Wenner began dating, they made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Golden Globes in January.

Aside from sharing Wenner's post and others to her Instagram Stories — including tributes from Paris Hilton, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts and more — Elle shared a video of herself blowing out the candles on her birthday cake.

"🍓26 is already feeling good🍓," she wrote in the caption of her footage, in which people gathered around could be heard cheering.

"Happy Birthday 🎂❤️," The Beguiled costar Kirsten Dunst wrote in the comments section, as Vanessa Hudgens chimed in, "Happy birthday love ❤️❤️❤️."

Elle's big sister and fellow actress Dakota Fanning also showed some love for the Neon Demon star on social media, sharing a photo of the two sisters embracing.

"The best thing that has ever happened to me is being given Elle as my sister. 26 today," Dakota, 30, wrote in a caption to her post. "With every passing year, my gratitude for her deepens, even when it feels like that couldn’t be possible. She is magic, and I’m so lucky that she is mine."

"Thank you for always indulging me when I tell you how hungry I am, and then list the 72 things I’ve eaten that day," Dakota added in the caption. "I love you so much @ellefanning!"

Elle spent at least part of Tuesday at work on her newest film, A Complete Unknown. She and Timothée Chalamet were pictured on set of the upcoming Bob Dylan biopic, sharing a laugh as they appeared in costume in Paterson, New Jersey.

Chalamet, 28, plays the "Mr. Tambourine Man" singer, while Elle portrays his love interest Sylvie
