Can Elizabeth Warren Take On Bernie Sanders?

After the alleged anti feminst comment of Senator Bernie Sanders was made public by Senator Elizabethe Warren the tide started to waver on who would be the main front runner for the Democratic party. Yesterday the Democratic debate was nothing short of a contained explosion. What is interesting about each debate is how quickly the public can switch to who they prefer for that number one spot in the white house. Just before the debate yesterday the rise of Bernie Sanders was seemingly unstoppable but now it looks as if there is a new sheriff in town and she isn't backing down.

Were fireworks fuming or was that just the smoke from the wheels turning in Bernie Sanders head at this moment in time. This is what it looked like physically when he was confronted no holds bar on the very public accusation by Senator Warren that he said a woman doesn't have an ounce of a chance of becoming President of The United States. In true Bernie fashion he flat out denied it with a strength, but then this question was repurposed ignoring the fact completely that Sanders publicly said right then and there that he did not say that. So, the CNN commentator decided to ask Senator Warren how did she feel when Sanders said that to her. In a political esque way she skated around it, and did not with full transparency confirms this. Instead she went on to call Bernie her friend in the process of calling him out.

If you went on Twitter and saw the national response there was a plethora of tweets dedicated to Warren and how she “killed” the debate. But, on the flip side the support for Bernie was pronounced and the hashtag women for Bernie waa trending as well. It is hard to say what effect this has had on each campaign. By Warren cosigning that Bernie allegedly said this ignorant statement she could appeal to people who already don't necessarily like him, but it also could have a reverse effect. Many people have come out and called Warren a liar, and the fact that she has no receipts for such a fiery accusation is not benefiting her. People do love Bernie and with the last Democratic nomination between him and Hilary Clinton it has proved not so good to count this man out.

As for the other contenders in this fight there hasn't been an influx of media coverage on any of them. Joe Biden and his mighty core of support looks a bit fragile at the moment especially with his notable flustered moments. To get in the ring with Trump you do have to be a quick-witted personality. Will he return to being the golden horse or is his shine dimming away. In the next coming months these questions will be answered. Will other zingers reveal themselves and will someone take the knee and gracefully bow out of the race before things get uglier. What we do know now more than ever is that everyone must be ready for the unexpected because the rules of political war are no more.
