After Britney Spears revealed her brief romance with Colin Farrell in her memoir The Woman in Me, many have wondered what other A-listers Farrell has been linked to over the years. He’s dated quite a few stars like Carmen Electra, Angelina Jolie… and even the legendary Elizabeth Taylor?!
That’s right, Farrell and Taylor had a multi-year romance from 2009 to 2011.

Back in 2013, Colin Farrell revealed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, per HuffPost, that he and the Cleopatra star had a romantic relationship, but they never consummated it. He revealed that they met when his son Henry was born, and she was dealing with her heart issues at the same time, at the same hospital.
The story goes that they exchanged flowers with one another, not being able to stop thinking about each other (despite the over 40-year age difference between the two). After a week of that, he visited her and they started dating until her death in 2011.

He recounted their time together, saying, “She wasn’t much of a sleeper at night, like I’m not. I’d call her at two in the morning; the nurse would answer the phone. I’d ask if she was awake, and then on the other phone I’d hear ‘hello?’ and I’d go: how’s it going, and we’d talk for a half an hour, an hour, into the wee hours.”
He added, “I just adored her. She was a spectacular, spectacular woman.”
“It was kind of like the last; it feels like in my head, not hers,” Farrell said, “I’m projecting … But the last kind of romantic relationship I had. Which was never consummated.”
However, Farrell did find love again with Kelly Macnamara from 2017 to 2022, per Life and Style.
