Theranos founder and CEO Elizabeth Holmes is currently behind bars at Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, after being sent away for 11-years for fraud after bilking investors out of millions of dollars. However, that charge hasn’t made her in outcast in prison, she has made an unexpected famous friend while incarcerated. Holmes is reportedly BFFs with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star, Jen Shah, who is doing time for her role in a telemarketing scheme.

The unlikely duo are rehabilitating and “have bonded over being on this journey of positive change,” according to Shah’s representative Chris Giovanni. He told People, “Their situations brought them together, and they have a good understanding of one another. They’re getting through it together.” Shah, 49, has also taken on a mentorship role to Holmes, 38 who has “given her a lot of advice” and inspired the other prisoners to “rally behind her while she teaches them fitness moves” in her cleverly named class, “Sha-mazing Abs.”

While Shah and Holmes work hard to rebuild their images, Giovanni promises that both women have “changed a lot behind bars.” They must adhere to the 6 a.m. wake-up calls and work behind prison walls for a salary between $0.23 and $1.15 — it’s not exactly the lap of luxury that they are both used to.

However, their blossoming friendship behind bars could be the idea for a post-prison reality show. Giovanni is describing Shah as already “reunion-ready,” so could a Real Housewives return be a possibility in 78 months when she’s released? Holmes might not be far behind after she gets out either. Her rapid rise and shocking fall was chronicled in the TV series, The Dropout, starring Amanda Seyfried, so Holmes is no stranger to Hollywood.

While Shah’s PR team is readily dishing the details of their alliance, Holmes’ rep is keeping silent about the bosom buddies. Perhaps the Bravo TV star is thinking about all of the post-prison opportunities that may await them — it’s a pop-culture dream come true. Holmes may not be ready for her reality TV closeup, but it sounds like Shah is prepping for her return to the spotlight.
