Elizabeth Banks Brings the Drama to the 'Mockingjay' Red Carpet in London

Elizabeth Banks is dressing down in the new Hunger Games movie, but she’s more than making up for it on the red carpet. The actress brought her A-game to Monday’s London premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1, where she dazzled in a billowing Elie Saab gown with a plunging neckline. With its smoke-colored skirt and red floral bodice, Banks’ dress seems like it could have been designed for the Mockingjay herself, Katniss Everdeen (played by Jennifer Lawrence).

Speaking of Lawrence, the Girl on Fire was also on hand at the London premiere, looking demure but fabulous in a white dress by Christian Dior (of course). Lawrence gave off an Audrey Hepburn vibe in the wasp-waisted number, which she accessorized with a simple headband, stud earrings, and natural-looking makeup.
In The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1, Katniss and the surviving Hunger Games champions are put to the ultimate test when they mount a revolt against the Capitol. The London event marks the world premiere of the film, which will have its Los Angeles premiere in one week at the Nokia Live Theater before opening in theaters on Nov. 21.
