Eli Manning has a newfound appreciation for Taylor Swift.

Speaking to PEOPLE about his and brother Peyton Manning's partnership with King's Hawaiian celebrating Slider Sunday, the two-time Super Bowl winner, 42, talked about his family's reaction to seeing the singer, 33, at Travis Kelce's Chiefs game last Sunday.

"It was fun. I've never convinced the three of my girls to sit down on a Sunday and watch a whole lot of football," says the dad of four, who shares son Charlie, 4, and daughters Caroline, 7, Lucy, 10, and Ava, 12, with wife Abby McGrew.

"But once they found out, Taylor Swift was at the game, there were three girls glued to the TV just to watch it, trying to figure out who Travis Kelce was and what was going on," he laughs. "So it was funny to see their reaction and how Taylor Swift being out at the football game drew their attention to watching football."

In the days after Swift, 33, attended Kelce’s game at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, the tight end spoke out about the buzz surrounding her appearance — and the resulting attention he received — on his podcast and on social media.

"I’m enjoying life and I sure as hell enjoyed this weekend," Kelce said on New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce Presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment earlier this week.

"Shout out to Taylor for pulling up. That was pretty ballsy," Kelce admitted before adding, "I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her — the friends and family. She looked amazing and everybody was talking about her in great light."

He continued, "To see the slow motion chest bumps, to see the high fives with Mom, to see how, you know, Chiefs kingdom was all excited that she was there — that s--- was absolutely hysterical and it was definitely a game I’ll remember, that’s for damn sure."

Savannah Guthrie's daughter is another celebrity kid who has big opinions on the allegedly budding relationship.

"My 9-year-old’s talking about it. She’s like, ‘Is it real mom? He better not break her heart,’ " Guthrie said earlier this week, sharing Vale's thoughts about the pairing. "My daughter said this morning, ‘If he breaks her heart, I’ll break him.' "
