Electric Jewelry Maker Travels Back in Time to Compete on ‘America’s Greatest Makers’

America’s Greatest Makers premiered on TBS Tuesday. The show comprises 24 teams of digital inventors who are vying for a $1,000,000 grand prize. The show is heavily branded by Intel, and all inventions must incorporate Intel’s Curie module — and just to make sure no one is cheating, Intel’s CEO is a judge.

The premier episode was rather bland, unfortunately, with the exception of an LED bedazzled time traveler named Zach. Zach used to work for Google, but now he creates electronic artisan jewelry for electronic dance music festivals. Oh, and did we mention he is from the future? Because he claimed to be exactly that.

We checked out his website, which appears to also be from the future, with a copyright date of 2017. Even more surprising was the fact that all of his jewelry is “Made by hand in San Francisco in the future.”

While there is some concern for how Zach’s appearance on the show will affect the space-time continuum, his cheerful disposition makes it worth the risk. We look forward to seeing more of his future jewelry.

America’s Greatest Makers airs Tuesday’s at 9 p.m. on TBS.
