Elaine Welteroth's little one has arrived!

The journalist and Project Runway judge, 35, welcomed her first baby, a son, with musician husband Jonathan Singletary, the pair announced with a joint Instagram post on Tuesday.

The couple welcomed their baby boy at home. He measured 21 inches and weighed 9 lbs. at birth.

Welteroth and Singletary shared the exciting news in conjunction with the artist's new song, "Before You Arrive," which is dedicated to their son.

The music video for the song includes footage from Welteroth's pregnancy as well as her home birth and the family's first moments with their baby boy.

"Look who finally made his debut 💕 Thank you for all of your prayers and well wishes along this wild ride earth side. Baby is here and he feels the love," the couple captioned the post. "Forever grateful to our angel midwives @kimberlydurdin + @mama_leggs at @kindredspacela for helping us safely deliver our healthy, juicy, 9 pound blessing at home. He's so sweet he deserved his own song."

Welteroth first announced her exciting pregnancy news back in October, telling PEOPLE exclusively, "I'm so excited to finally share the excitement with our friends and extended community. It's been so hard to keep this a secret!"

"I'm just excited to learn more about what this new life is here to teach us," she said. "I'm already learning so much from this experience. We are both excited to experience new levels of love."

"We always knew — God willing — that one day we would be parents, but no one talks about what it's like when that one day becomes today. Even with a husband, a house and a career, somehow I still didn't feel quite ready or adult enough to be somebody's mom. But there's nothing that compares to the blessing of the moment you hear that little heartbeat — it changes everything. You just surrender to God's plan and divine timing," she added.

In a video message on Instagram, set to Singletary's single "Lullaby," Welteroth said, "Real life evidence of life," as she shows the positive pregnancy test and sonograms. "I'm freaking out right now. This baby looks exactly like Jonathan," she shared.

Welteroth, the former editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue, wed Singletary on May 10, 2020, after a more than three-year engagement. Opening up about their ceremony, which was held on her Brooklyn stoop with a block party afterward, Welteroth told Vogue in 2020, "Everyone let loose and had a blast."
