A Mexican restaurant chain has opened a new Greater Cincinnati location.

El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant recently opened at 2845 Short Vine St. It's the chain's fourth Greater Cincinnati location and 20th overall.

"We are thrilled to expand in the Cincinnati region and provide guests with authentic Mexican cuisine in a lively atmosphere," general manager Gustavo Ornelas said in a press release. "We are committed to serving our guests using only the freshest ingredients, and we can’t wait to share our passion for quality and authentic Mexican cuisine with the Clifton community.”

The restaurant offers daily happy hours and weekly specials on tacos, as well as seafood, steak, desserts and vegetarian options.

El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant is open Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The regional chain's nearby locations include Blue Ash, Monroe and Franklin.
