Eight-Match Australian Showcase Added To IMPACT Wrestling Down Under Tour
IMPACT Wrestling added a special Australian Showcase to their upcoming Down Under tour.
This Thursday, IMPACT Wrestling heads to the Eastern Hemisphere as they begin a four-day tour of Australia. Called the “Down Under” tour, IMPACT promised to host four days of activities, including two marquee wrestling shows. After IMPACT wraps up with those shows on June 30 and July 1, fans will be treated to another special event to close out the weekend.
As announced by Oceania Pro Wrestling, several local Australian stars will receive the opportunity to score favor with IMPACT Wrestling EVP Scott D’Amore as they compete at the Australian Showcase. Described as “a unique live event experience,” talent will be evaluated by D’Amore while also wrestling in front of fans. This event will place on Sunday, July 2 at 12:30pm AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time).
All ticket holders for Night 1 and/or Night 2 of IMPACT’s Down Under Tour will gain free entry to the Australian Showcase session.
So far, eight matches have been added to the Australian Showcase card on the IMPACT Down Under tour:
Aysha vs Frankie B
OPW Tag Team Championship: The Parea vs Top Tier
Erika Reid vs Xena
Kingsley vs Lena Kross
Luke Watts vs Matt Hayter
Ricky South vs Jimmy Townsend
Mick Moretti vs Jack Bonza
Anth Cava vs Syd Parker

While she may not be a part of the Australian Showcase, another Australia-native is making her return to IMPACT Wrestling this weekend. On the July 1 show, Steph De Lander will face Killer Kelly in a singles bout.
While it’s unclear if IMPACT will broadcast the Australian Showcase, fans can still watch the Friday and Saturday’s wrestling shows as they air live on FITE TV at 7PM AEST (5:00AM EST).
