Edited version of 'American Horror Story' still shows violent mass shooting

Edited version of 'American Horror Story' still shows violent mass shooting Following the Las Vegas mass shooting that left 58 people dead and over 500 injured, this week's episode of American Horror Story: Cult received some major last-minute edits. FX released this statement prior to the episode's airing: "In light of the recent tragedy in Las Vegas, the producers of American Horror Story: Cult have chosen to edit tonight's episode for gun-related violence. Viewers who wish to watch the unedited version can find it on FX Video-On-Demand, FXNOW and FX+." However, the episode still opened with an unseen gunman opening fire on a crowd at a political rally with some people fleeing the scene while most took to the ground in cover, featured a woman being murdered in her home via gunshot to the chest and later cut back to the gunman's (revealed as Meadow's) graphic point of view as she shot, and killed, multiple people. This left many AHS fans on Twitter wondering: So, what was actually edited out? One Twitter user wrote: "I'm trying to figure out what part of the gun violence they decided to cut out because…" https://twitter.com/panhalfrican/status/917945859702181888 While another tweeted: "Me going to look for the unedited version online" And another user shared: "You know our country has a serious problem when a show that's supposed to be fictional has to be edited bc it is too close to reality"
