Edgy comic Daniel Tosh adds second show at Mershon Auditorium in June

Comedian, host, writer and producer Daniel Tosh has added a second show to his June 16 performance at Mershon Auditorium, 1871 N. High St.,
Tickets for the added show, which will be at 5 p.m., go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketmaster.com. Remaining tickets for Tosh's 8 p.m. show are already on sale at Ticketmaster, with prices starting at $45.
Tosh, who's visiting nine cities including Columbus during a run of dates this year, is best-known as the creator and host of "Tosh .0," which aired on Comedy Central from 2009-2020, one of the network's longest-running comedy series.

Tosh moved to LA to pursue a comedy career after earning a degree in marketing from the University of Central Florida in the mid '90s. A 2001 performance on "The Late Show with David Letterman" gave his career a boost that eventually led to his own Comedy Central Presents special two years later.
Comedy Central subsequently released Tosh's debut album, "True Stories I Made Up," in 2005 and he has done three critically acclaimed hourlong specials for the network, "Completely Serious" (2007), "Happy Thoughts" (2011) and "People Pleaser" (2016).
On "Tosh .0," he showcased internet video clips accompanied by his trademark envelope-pushing, non-politically correct humor. At its height, the series was the most-watched cable TV show by 18- to 34-year-old men.
Tosh, 48, can currently be heard and seen as host of "Tosh Show," an iHeart Media video podcast available on Apple Podcasts and YouTube.
