Eddie Kingston and Will Ospreay made their presence felt on AEW Dynamite.

The June 14 episode of AEW Dynamite ended with Hangman Page and The Young Bucks defeating The Blackpool Combat Club in a trios match. However, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta weren’t satisfied and continued attacking the winners.

To break it up, Eddie Kingston made his return from injury and came face-to-face with Castagnoli, who he faced at ROH Supercard of Honor in April. Konosuke Takeshita joined the fray, which brought out Kenny Omega. But once Takeshita was thrown out, Will Ospreay snuck in to attack Omega. Ospreay then stood tall to close the show.

Ospreay is set to challenge Omega in a rematch for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 25.

It remains to be seen what Kingston’s role might be at the pay-per-view. He had been out of action since early May after undergoing hernia surgery.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
