Eddie Kingston is dealing with an injury, and he commented on the situation.

At NJPW Resurgence, Eddie Kingston defended the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship against Gabe Kidd. Kingston seemingly suffered an injury at the end of the match, and Kidd emerged victorious. Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com reported that Kingston was legitimately hurt, and Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) confirmed the news.

On the May 15 episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW announced that Eddie Kingston would be unable to compete in the Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing due to injury. As a result, he was removed from the match. His replacement in the bout was not immediately named.

In a post on Instagram, Eddie Kingston commented on the news by posting a picture of himself in a wheelchair. In the image, his leg is in some kind of a brace. He also shared a quote in the post.

Other details are not known at this time. There is no word on when Eddie Kingston will return to the ring, or what kind of injury he is dealing with.

WrestleZone will monitor the situation and provide more information as it becomes available.
