Ed Sheeran’s new album is inspired by sweet moments with his wife, Cherry Seaborn.

On Thursday, TikTok creator and private chef Meredith Hayden of @wishbonekitchen, shared a video of Sheeran, 32, serving up tacos with her in her Brooklyn apartment. In the clip, the “Perfect” singer shared that time in his kitchen was a big source of inspiration for him.

“It was actually cooking that inspired me to make it,” he said of his new album, Autumn Variations. “Me and my wife always put on Norah Jones.”

(Sheeran and Seaborn share daughters, Lyra Antarctica, 3, and Jupiter, 16 months.)

As Hayden prepared the tacos, she asked Sheeran, “I was going to say is it a good cooking album?”

Sheeran chimed in to ask the young chef what her go-to cooking playlist is. “It’s kind of embarrassing. It’s called hotel lobby jazz,” she answered with a fist bump of approval from the  Grammy-winning musician.

She added: “The next time I cook, I'm going to be listening to your new album.”

All in good fun, Sheeran responded with a hilarious comeback. “I hope so. You might be switching it off halfway through and putting on your jazz record,” he joked.

Their collaboration featured Sheeran’s hot sauce, Tingly Ted’s. Hayden put a generous drizzle of the hot condiment on their tacos to close out the fun video.

Hayden isn’t the only one who’s getting home visits from Sheeran. Last week, the singer stopped by his good friend, Courteney Cox’s house to serenade her with a song from the new album inspired by Friends.

“Courteney, Courteney, Courteney. I wrote this song inspired by Friends, the show that you were on,” Sheeran explained in his video featuring Cox on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Sheeran then began to play a snippet of the track, “American Town,” on his acoustic guitar.

“We’re a long way from home/ Haven’t seen you in so long/ But it all came back in one moment/ And the year started cold/ But I didn’t notice at all/ When we found there’s a room we’re both in,” he crooned, as Cox grinned through his performance.

It was the pre-chorus, however, where Sheeran made a deliberate nod to the hit '90s sitcom, which aired from 1994 until 2004.

"We ate Chinese food in small white boxes/ Live the life we saw in Friends/ Your room it barely fits the mattress/ Wake up, leave for work again/ The wind it seems to blow right through us / Down jackets are the trend,” Sheeran sang before transitioning to a line about an “English girl in an American town” and an elevator that doesn’t reach the fifth floor.

After he wrapped his mini-concert, Cox asked: “Wait, that was really about the show Friends?”

Sheeran clarified and said the track was "inspired" by the series, “cuz you eat Chinese food in small white boxes.”

Cox told her friend she loved it, but also joked that she would receive royalties.

"Do I get paid?” she quipped.

In an interview with The Elvis Duran Morning Show in May, Sheeran said his wife doesn't necessarily want to live her life in the public eye — despite being married to an international superstar.

"Cherry sort of touches on it in the documentary, and we've talked about this a lot, whether we can close the door after we've opened it a little bit," Sheeran told host Elvis Duran. "She's always been a private person. She's never had a public Instagram. She's never done a red carpet with me. We've always been super private. Our private life is our private life."
