The residents of Albert Square are in for an incendiary Friday night as another explosion rocks Walford.
Thursday’s EastEnders saw Callum Highway (Tony Clay) take a stand against hate with a party outside The Prince Albert, and now it’s time for clean up duty.
But first, a moment of appreciation please, for our favourite line of EastEnders dialogue this year thus far. As Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) tried to arrest Callum for breach of the peace, sister-in-law Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) immediately piped up: “Jackie baby, read the room” to cheers from the neighbours as she told him to stop being an “uptight jobsworth” before threatening to tell his wife Denise just how boring he has become.
Soap perfection.
There was also a touch of romance as Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) arrived to stand by his husband’s side, fighting for their marriage amid his trauma over January’s homophobic attack. But while he made a moving speech, we know his struggles are far from over.

Honourable mention goes to everyone’s new favourite character Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) who has established herself as a lovable rogue in record time, even managing to momentarily endear herself to the icy Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal).
Now to Friday's instalment where a new day has dawned and Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) is joined by family and friends to help tidy the area outside her club.
All is well until the locals hear an explosion.
Everyone is shaken by the bang coming from the abandoned Argee Bhajee, which reminds them of their near-miss with the bomb at New Year. But what exactly has happened, and is anyone in danger?
Meanwhile, we’ll hear news of a missing Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ), last seen disappearing from the hospital ahead of a crucial operation for his breast cancer diagnosis.

Wife Rainie (Tanya Franks) was furious when she learned that Ben gave Stuart money and sent him on his way, but she is set to receive a heartfelt message from the vulnerable man. The question is, though, will he be back to begin life-saving treatment any time soon?
During the chaos, we’ll also see something of a turning point for Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton). She’s been looking for work since parting ways with the Minute Mart, so what’s next for her?
Let’s hope it’s something that gives Honey more screen-time after being stuck behind that shop counter for so long.
At the hospital, new mum Chelsea Atkins (Zaraah Abrahams) meets a nurse who once treated an injured Chantelle, and it’s clear the woman has her suspicions over what kind of husband Gray (Toby-Alexander Smith) is.
