Eagles with the disastrous onside kick to open 2nd-half vs. Raiders

Michael Clay is a young, innovative, and upcoming special teams coach in the NFL, but this opening to the second half in Las Vegas isn’t going to make his list of top decisions.

With Philadelphia trailing 17-7 and obviously needing a spark to open the second half, the Eagles attempted an onside kick by kicker Jake Elliott that was completely botched.

In the video courtesy of Brodes Media, Elliott’s kick went six yards before being scooped up by Las Vegas fullback Alex Ingold.
