The Bears have hired Colts defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus to be their next head coach and that could make things interesting in Philadelphia, where passing game coordinator, Kevin Patullo, could be in the hunt to be Chicago’s offensive coordinator.

Patullo left Texas A&M to join Frank Reich’s Indianapolis Colts staff in 2018. Patullo was one of the first additions to Sirianni’s coaching staff when he was hired by the Eagles this season after they helped lead the Colts to consecutive playoff appearances.

Patullo could now reunite with Eberflus, who was the defensive coordinator in Indianapolis and he’ll need a sharp NFL mind to nurture Bears second-year quarterback Justin Fields.
