It's not too often that football fans want the season to end.

This year, that might be the case.

Sure, everyone is expecting a great game Sunday when the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl, but fans are also clamoring for "The Dynasty," and we're not talking about Patrick Mahomes winning another ring.

But fans are also waiting patiently for the release of "The Dynasty: New England Patriots," the story of the team's 20-year run where they won six Super Bowls.

The series debuts Feb. 16 and will stream on Apple TV+.

The documentary, taken from Jeff Benedict's book by the same name, includes interviews with all of the key members of this team, including quarterback Tom Brady, owner Robert Kraft and coach Bill Belichick.

There were a lot of good times during the run.

Brady stepped up as an unproven player to lead the team to the Super Bowl in his second year. Heck, all of the Super Bowls were great days for the franchise.

And a lot of fan favorites will be included in the show, including Rob Gronkowski, Wes Welker, Vince Wilfork and Devin McCourty, who all made huge plays during that 20-year run.

But there were also some not-so-fun moments, including twice losing to the New York Giants in the Super Bowl and another loss to the Eagles, "Spygate," "Deflategate" and of course all of the craziness surrounding Aaron Hernandez's arrest for murder and later suicide in prison.

Heck, even the owner himself got arrested and charged with soliciting prostitution before the charges were dropped in Jupiter, Florida.

Apple TV+ describes the 10-part series showcases "the rise of the most dominant sports dynasty of the 21st century, the New England Patriots."

“'The Dynasty: New England Patriots' brings together former quarterback Tom Brady, coach Bill Belichick and owner Robert Kraft, along with a wide range of contributors, as they give the definitive story of the team’s remarkable reign."
