DWTS Professional Emma Slater Wants Mauricio Umansky in Her Life ‘Forever’

Dancing with the Stars Season 32 was one for the books. With many memorable moments under its belt, the relationship between Mauricio Umansky and Emma Slater made it particularly poignant for reality TV fans.

At the time, the news of Mauricio’s struggling marriage to Kyle Richards was still somewhat nascent. As such, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans went bananas when it seemed Mauricio and Emma were engaged in a romantic relationship.

The two were spotted holding hands after a night out. Naturally, everyone jumped to the same conclusion. The two tried their best to put the rumors to rest. Unfortunately, their attempts only exasperated things further. Months on, things still seem questionable between the two.

Emma describes her special bond with Mauricio

On May 10, Emma appeared at the Race to Erase MS Gala at the Fairmont Century Plaza. While there, Us Weekly got the chance to speak with her. Perhaps expectedly, the conversation turned toward Mau. “I really think that Mauricio is someone who’s going to be in my life forever,” Emma said.

“We really do click. We sort of went through difficult times at the same time together and were each other’s confidants. It was a really nice season. Difficult for both of us, but we’re really really grateful that we had each other.”

Emma more or less generalized that bond by saying, “You get really close to your partners on the season.” Of course, for Emma and Mau, that closeness extended beyond their season together. “He’s such an amazing person. We have such a good friendship that it meant a lot that he was able to come to the [DWTS] tour and support as well.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is streaming on Peacock while Dancing with the Stars is available on Disney+.
