'DWTS' Premieres With Hannah Brown Up Big, Christie's Nasty Injury, and Boo Birds Chirping

"Dancing With The Stars" started off with a bang, allowing "The Bachelorette" alum to take the dance floor first out of the group, and she did not disappoint.

Hannah Brown, hit the stage and was outstanding!

Not only did she receive a high score for her moves, she is clearly a frontrunner.

Lamar Odom is used to winning with the Los Angeles Lakers, but on the ballroom dancing front he has a lot to learn.

The former NBA star received the lowest score with an 11.

But, on a bright note, he got some points for his smile. The judges pointed out how he was smiling big while attempting his first steps. Hopefully, we will catch a bit of a break for being 6'9."

Christie Brinkley's Nasty Arm Break

"DWTS" also revealed just how bad the supermodels break actually is...and they actually showed the moment of impact!

Brinkley appeared on the premier episode in an arm cast, to support her daughter.

As we reported, her daughter Sailor stepped in at the last second to dance for her mom.

BTW, she has two plates and several screws in her arm, calling herself a "bionic woman."

'Kelito'

Kel Mitchell was assigned the tango, and revealed at the end he uses an alter ego "Kelito" to get in the mood. It didn't fully impress the judges though, he has some work to do.

Boo Birds

This seasons live studio audience is giving it to the judges on a regular basis. At times, inside the ballroom it sounded like a football or basketball game.

Maybe Lamar Odom and Ray Lewis do have a leg up?
