'DWTS' New Cast Front-Runner Emerges, James Van Der Beek Has 'Dance Skills'
The new season of "Dancing With The Stars" is going to be jam packed with great dancing, but an early front-runner may be emerging even before the upcoming season gets underway.
"Dawson's Creek" star James Van Der Beek's "dance skills are blossoming already!" according to the show's Instagram. The quote is captioned alongside a photo of Van Der Beek and his new partner mid-step.
The partner is blurred out by a bunch of flowers, but by the looks of it James knows what he is doing.
The show also released the first official 'DWTS' season 28 cast photo which features all of the new contestants. This season will include, James Van Der Beek, Christie Brinkley, Lamar Odom, 'Bachelorette' Hannah Brown, 'Fifth Harmony' member Ally Brooke, 'Queer Eye' star Karamo Brown, The Office’s Kate Flannery, 'All That' star Kel Mitchell, American Idol runner-up Lauren Alaina, The Supremes member Mary Wilson, NFL linebacker Ray Lewis and President Donald Trump’s former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer.
The new roster will not include pro dancer, Artem Chigvintsev, but will add two new pros for the season, husband and wife Pasha Pashkov and Daniella Karagach.
Artem, who is currently dating Nikki Bella, announced on the"Total Bellas" star's podcast Wednesday he had no indication the show would cut him out completely. "There was never really a thought in my mind that I'm not going to be doing it," he explained.
Either way, this season of 'DWTS' will be filled with joy and defeat, and we will be there for all of it.
