Dwyane Wade comes to defense of 'washed' LeBron
If LeBron James’ three straight triple-doubles weren’t convincing enough, Dwyane Wade is here to inform everyone the king isn’t washed up.
Wade took to Twitter on Wednesday to defend his former teammate after James tallied 30 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds on Tuesday night in the Los Angeles Lakers’ big comeback win over the Chicago Bulls.
Wait who said @KingJames was washed 😂 😂😂😂😂!!???? If 27,8,8 was washed last season where do 99 percent of basketball players sign up??? Y’all need to quit with this click bait news #FakeNews

While not many are still crying “Washed King,”James has been on his own social media brigade defending himself since last spring and posted a new update last night after his latest triple-double.

The duo teamed up in Miami for four seasons, including two NBA titles. But their bond has gone beyond that, dating back to their days trolling on a banana boat with Chris Paul back in 2015.
Wade’s in his first full year of retirement and has been rather quiet publicly as the NBA season has kicked off, aside from some tweets supporting the Miami Heat, the franchise he spent the majority of his career with. That is of course until Tuesday night, when he had to come to the defense of an old vacation friend.
So the moral of the story here is, if you’re going to fight the haters, you can always expect your banana boat crew to come to your defense.
