Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson showed his vocal talent while serenading his mother on social media.

In an Instagram post uploaded on Wednesday (Oct. 25) the 51-year-old shares a heartfelt moment, celebrating his mother, Ata Johnson, on her 75th birthday.

“Don’t start crying,” jokes the action film star as he’s asked “Do you know how to sing in tune?” by his mother. In the clip, he places a bright fuchsia lei around her neck.

“Before I even start singing to my mom her special Happy Birthday song, she starts to cry,” writes the Black Adam actor. “Probably because I always sing in keys that don’t exist.”

Actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson poses with his mother Ata after receiving the Australian Rugby League official “Kangaroo” Jersey from a selection of national players at the Aussie Stadium on August 5, 2004 in Sydney, Australia.

The caption continued to share “HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!! 75 years of experience, wisdom, hard times, good times, laughter, mana, and yet thru it all — you TRULY have the KINDEST HEART I have ever known,” adding “I feel like the luckiest son on earth.”

Ata Johnson’s 75th birthday comes as a joyous moment for the family after she was involved in a near-fatal car accident earlier this year. While driving her red Cadillac truck, Johnson was hit by someone on the front passenger side of her vehicle, resulting in emergency assistance from both the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).

“This woman has survived lung cancer, tough marriage, head on collision with a drunk driver. She’s a survivor, in ways that make angels and miracles real,” detailed the former WWF wrestler at the time.
