'Ballers' Takes A Final Bow
After five seasons on HBO, Ballers is coming to an end. The inside look at the business side of football is airing its series finale tonight, bringing Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's journey from a financial manager to NFL team owner.
Fans were bummed when Johnson announced that the fifth season would be its last, but he explained that they would be going out strong.
"Thank you all for this absolutely amazing 5 year Ballers run and cheers to dreams that don’t come true. I’ve played some characters over the years that have been anchored deep in my DNA. I’ve had a helluva time playing this dude who was actually based on my life, IF I hadn’t failed at my dream of playing in the NFL."

Onward And Upward
The Rock is the busiest guy in Hollywood and has a ton of projects lined up, so it's not like Johnson's star is on the wane in the slightest. He's got the Jumanji sequel coming out this fall and the trailer for his latest Disney joint, Jungle Cruise just dropped. So, goodbye Spencer, hello Frank.
