Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Requests Skin Color Change For Paris Museum Wax Figure

The Grévin Museum in Paris recently honored Dwayne Johnson with a wax statue, however, its skin color is significantly lighter than it should be. After suffering several jokes via social media, “The Rock” revealed that he is looking to have the wax figure updated.

The Fast & Furious actor shared a video of comedian James Andre Jefferson Jr. getting jokes off at his expense on Sunday (Oct. 22). In the video, Jefferson calls him a pebble, legendary soccer player David Beckham, and a member of the royal family in the United Kingdom. Amidst the jokes, the WWE legend also stated that he’s looking to have some changes made to the statue.

“I knew my boy @jamesjeffersonj had this Rock wax statue in his roasting crosshairs,” Johnson said. “Legit belly laughed at this… For the record, I’m going to have my team reach out to our friends at Grévin Museum, in Paris France so we can work at ‘updating’ my wax figure here with some important details and improvements, starting with my skin color.”

Dwayne Johnson’s caption was loaded with laughing emojis so it is clear he isn’t taking the mishap too personally. He even stated at the end of his Instagram post that he wants to stop and have a drink with “himself” next time he is in Paris. Check out the post above.

“The Rock” has been all about positivity the last few months. In August, he gifted UFC fighter Themba Gorimbo his own apartment upon learning that Gorimbo used the winnings from a recent fight to help his home country Zimbabwe. As a result, he was sleeping at a gym in Miami due to not having the money for his own home.

Johnson played up the entire moment, pretending that he was taking Gorimbo to visit his friend “Jay” at his nearby home. Upon entering, Gorimbo began to realize that the residence was full of his own family’s photos and it dawned on him that the place was being given to him. “Welcome home @thembagorimbo_mma,” Johnson wrote in an Instagram post. “You and your family enjoy your new house brother. Lights are on. Bills are paid. Keep your ‘My Reason’ list close, keep taking care of your people and I’m honored to play a very, very small role in your $7 bucks journey.”
