Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Named World's Highest-Paid Actor by Forbes
Move over, Iron Man, because The Rock is in town.
Dwayne Johnson has been named the world's highest-paid actor by Forbes, knocking off three-time list topper Robert Downey Jr.
The actor pulled in an impressive $64.5 million thanks to his roles in the Fast and Furious franchise, San Andreas and Central Intelligence, along with his HBO series Ballers – nearly doubling his 2015 earnings.
Johnson reacted to his new title on Twitter, stressing how hard work really can pay off.
"Want to say two things about this.I started w/ $7 bucks. If I can overcome, so can you," he wrote.

Jackie Chan followed close behind Johnson, earning an estimated $61 million for the year, while reigning champ Downey Jr. slid down to the eighth spot, tying with Shah Rukh Khan with $33 million.
Rounding out the top five are regular list members including Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp, earning $53 and $48 million respectively.
