A New Accolade Under His Belt
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson may have dominated in the ring and on screen, and now he's got a new accolade: "Coolest Dad of 2019" from Fatherly. Johnson posted about it on Instagram, saying "topping this list is awesome."
"I was a nervous and scared first time father (because I didn't want to screw shit up due to my own strained relationship with my old man) but eventually I learned that leading with love, empathy and a lil' humor would always be some of my best assets. AND despite me being #1 on this list (cos I paid them) there’s millions of good dads out there that have a big ass coffee mug that prove otherwise."
A Hilarious Shout Out
However, while he mentioned his three daughters, The Rock hilariously mentioned his most troublesome child: actor Kevin Hart. Johnson ribbed the diminutive Hart, referring to himself as "big daddy." These two have worked on a number of projects together and have built a warm and lucrative friendship.
These Two Are A Great Team
Johnson has been incredibly supportive of Hart as he recovers from his car accident. He went on The Kelly Clarkson Show to replace Hart and to give an update on his condition to fans. He even came back early from his honeymoon to fill in. Now that's a good friend, even if he makes you call him "big daddy."
