The feud between Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel has seemingly come to an end, after Johnson took to Twitter to thank Diesel for his help on Hobbs & Shaw, before then teasing his return to the Fast & Furious franchise.

Johnson took to Instagram on Friday to thank all the fans across the world that helped his Fast & Furious spin-off Hobbs & Shaw gross over £610 million ($750 million) worldwide. Johnson also made sure to thank the cast and crew of Hobbs & Shaw, before then giving an unexpected shout-out to Diesel.

“Lastly, but not least, I want to thank brother Vin [Diesel] for your support of Hobbs & Shaw,” remarked Johnson, before he then recalled being invited to join the high octane franchise by Diesel all the way back in 2009’s Fast Five.

“My goal was always, all these years, to come into the Fast & Furious world and help elevate the franchise in any way that I possibly could. … And of course, all roads lead to one thing. I’ll be seeing you soon, Torreto.”

Toretto is obviously a reference to Diesel’s Fast & Furious character Dominic Toretto.

Johnson clearly seems to have forgiven Diesel for his antics on the set of The Fate Of The Furious. During its production in 2016 Johnson reportedly became so infuriated that he took to social media to call some of his male coworkers “candy a**es,”

It was then reported that Johnson was referring to Diesel, and Johnson even spoke about his differences with the actor, telling Rolling Stone, “What I came to realize is that we have a fundamental difference in philosophies on how we approach moviemaking and collaborating. It took me some time, but I’m grateful for that clarity. Whether we work together again or not.”

It has already been confirmed that Johnson won’t appear in Fast & Furious 9, but it looks as though he’ll return for the already announced tenth installment.

I am of course referring to the investigation into serious allegations of illegal conduct by the president of the United States — that the president has engaged in a persistent pattern and practice of obstruction of justice. The allegations are grave, the investigation is legitimate, and ascertaining the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the unqualified, unevasive truth is absolutely critical.” - Mitch McConnell February 12, 1998.
