It's a Dunphy reunion! “Modern Family” stars Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Julie Bowen reunite

The Dunphy clan is as close knit as ever.

On Tuesday, Sofia Vergara shared photos on Instagram of her former Modern Family costars Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson (and Ferguson's husband Justin Mikita) visiting her at home.

"Afternoon with some of my favorite people in the world! I luv u @jessetyler @justinmikita @itsjuliebowen," she captioned a photo of herself with the quartet on her patio.

Vergara also shared a carousel of images that were a bit sillier than their patio shot. "Cone [sic] back soooon!!!!!🌟🌟I missed uuu," she captioned a series of photos that included a picture of Bowen and Ferguson in Vergara's enormous closet and a shot of Mikita in front of Vergara's enviable shoe collection.

Ferguson even quipped in a comment, "For once, I enjoyed being back in the closet!"

Vergara also shared a shot of the entire group enjoying wine and taking mirror selfies. In the background, there's a framed photo of Bowen recreating the infamous Jayne Mansfield-Sophia Loren side-eye photograph as she looks down Vergara's dress at the 2014 Emmys.

On Modern Family, which ran from 11 seasons on ABC, Bowen and Ferguson played siblings, Claire and Mitch, while Vergara played their stepmom Gloria. The entire cast still remains close, following the end of their run in 2020.

Sunday, Bowen joined Ferguson for a screening of Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour to celebrate his birthday (and he shared photos of them together on his own Instagram page). He also was the officiant for TV niece Sarah Hyland, marrying her to Bachelor star Wells Adams.

Produced by Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd, the sitcom earned 22 Emmy Awards, including five for Outstanding Comedy Series, and a Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series — Musical or Comedy. Bowen won two Emmys for her work as Claire, while both Ferguson and Vergara never won despite five and four nominations respectively.

All 11 seasons of Modern Family are available to stream on Hulu.
