The global box office collections, vouched for by the film’s producers Red Chillies Entertainment, stands at a whopping $50.1 million. However, it faces a formidable challenge to surpass the $60 million mark, given the dominance of Salaar at the box office.

For Shah Rukh Khan, 2023 has been nothing short of a blockbuster year with previous releases, Pathaan and Jawan, both crossing the $120 million mark globally.

Drawing comparisons with Rajkumar Hirani’s past successes, it’s interesting to note that 3 Idiots ran for nearly 11 weeks in India. Meanwhile, the Aamir Khan starrer PK touched $95 million globally, benefitting from a successful release in China.

The question arises: Can Dunki match the staggering global success of SRK’s previous movies? As of now, it appears to be difficult as the film is yet to cross the $60 million mark and the audience’s interest seems to be staggering.
