‘Dungeons & Dragons': Jonathan Goldstein and Jonathan Francis Daley in Talks to Direct Film at Paramount

The “Dungeons & Dragons” movie is rolling, as Jonathan Goldstein and Jonathan Francis Daley are in negotiations to direct the film at Paramount Pictures, an individual with knowledge of the project told TheWrap. Goldstein and Daley previously wrote the screenplay for “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” and they last directed the Warner Bros. and New Line film “Game Night.” Michael Gillio is writing the screenplay for the film, and Hasbro’s Brian Goldner and Stephen Davis are producing. The company also has projects inspired by other toys including “Mr. Potato Head” and “My Little Pony,” as well as a movie based on “Monopoly” that’s set up at Lionsgate starring Kevin Hart. Goldstein and Daley were previously in talks to direct “The Flash” for DC. The pair also directed the remake of “Vacation” starring Ed Helms, and they were producers on Fox’s recent comedy “Stuber” with Kumail Nanjiani and Dave Bautista....
