Duke basketball vs. Jacksonville: Live updates from Jon Scheyer's first game

Duke basketball begins the 2022-23 season on Monday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium against Jacksonville.

The 7 p.m. tipoff will be the first game for new coach Jon Scheyer and the beginning of a new era for one of the premier college basketball programs in the country.

All eyes will be on Scheyer, the former 2010 national champion and All-American for the Blue Devils, who replaced Hall of Fame coach Mike Krzyzewski after last season’s run to the Final Four.

How does he handle the pressure and fill the void left by arguably the greatest men’s college basketball coach of all time? It’ll help that he has the No. 1 recruiting class in the country and is already building the top class for next season.
