Duck sneaks onto field in middle of Real Salt Lake-LA Galaxy match
Real Salt Lake had a surprise visitor make its way into their match against the LA Galaxy Saturday night — though it wasn’t what anyone inside Rio Tinto Stadium could have expected.
Midway through the first half, a duck flew into the stadium and made its way onto the pitch in the middle of a Salt Lake corner kick.

The duck didn’t want to leave either. It remained completely unfazed by the game going on all around it, and couldn’t even be scared off the field by multiple security guards.

While it was a little disruptive, the duck quickly garnered quite the following on social media.

Finally, security was able to run the duck off the pitch so the game could continue uninterrupted.

When it’s all said and done, though, that duck may be the biggest star from Saturday’s game.
