Duane "Dog" Chapman Explains That He's "So Lonely" After Losing Beth

Life After Beth

Following the death of his wife, Beth, Dog The Bounty Hunter star Duane "Dog" Chapman has been working to build a new life while also maintaining her memory. There is footage of Beth in the latest season of Dog's Most Wanted, and their children are working in the family business as well.

Dating Again?

There has been some speculation that Dog may be dating again, but he denies that he is seeing anyone. However, in a new interview, he explains that he's "so lonely" following Beth's death.

"It's really hard alone, because as soon as you get alone, bam, it hits you. So, I try not to be alone. Sometimes they know I gotta be alone, but it hurts worse or you feel it more when you're all alone."

According to Dog, he's getting tons of support from his friends and family, especially his bounty hunting team. He also explained that he and Beth were a team until the very end.

"She goes, 'Listen, I'm showing it, Big Daddy.' It wasn't me that wanted to show some of the stuff... Some of the stuff she let them in the room to see, I was completely flabbergasted, and I'd never spoke to her about it because I didn't want to get her upset. But I would stand back and watch behind the camera, when the camera's pointing, and thinking, 'Dear God, I would not do this. There's no way I would have done that. I would have, you know, 'Rest in peace, see you later,.'"

There Will Never Be Another Beth

Chapman explained that he has plenty of options when it comes to dating, but that he isn't quite ready to move on.

"I walk by all these girls... I said, 'Hey, Mama, I'll make you famous.' They're not really my girlfriends. I'm not saying I'm not gonna have one, 'cause I will, [but] I'm not gonna get married. There will never be another Mrs. Dog."
