Dua Lipa's Tweed Mini Skirt and Matching Corset Top Gives the Perfect Mix of Punk and Preppy Vibes
I think we’ve established that Dua Lipa can do no wrong in the fashion and style department. From sheer bras and groovy halter tops to metallic mini skirts, she’s curated a can’t-miss wardrobe that emulates the perfect mix of punk, prep, and pop star aesthetic.
Dua’s Instagram continues to be our number one source for outfit inspo, and her latest post is certainly no exception.
Over the weekend, the artist traveled to her home country of Kosovo to attend the Sunny Hill Festival, a four-day music event that she founded with her father. (During her visit, she was also named an Honorary Ambassador of the European nation for her humanitarian work — seriously, can she be any more incredible?)
She celebrated the weekend with a string of photos on her account, slaying look after look with a full-denim ‘fit, gorgeous high-slit gown, and oversized button-down and over-the-knee boots ensemble. But one outfit stood out in particular and already has us dreaming of dupes.
In her post uploaded on August 8, Dua wears a tweed mini skirt and matching corset top in a classically stylish black-and-white pattern. This isn’t the first time the “Sweetest Pie” singer has opted for a tweed look. ICYMI, Dua rocked a heart-shaped skirt set with massive furry boots during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in March, and TBH, we’re still thinking about it.
The set is from Versace, according to Instagram account @stylefordua, and appears to no longer be available on the designer’s site. Of course, the Versace number is a bit out of budget for most. Luckily, we found some alternatives that won’t break the bank — but don’t forget to style with a gold necklace and statement earrings to recreate a look just like Dua’s.
