Dua Lipa looks like an extra from The Matrix
When it comes to fashion, Dua Lipa is know for going all-out: from yeti boots to Versace bondage. Now that she's on tour and wearing some particularly opulent stage outfits (think: lace catsuits, dripping in crystals and head-to-toe Dior logomania) she's giving us more of a glimpse into her casual off-duty looks thanks to regular – and gratefully received – Instagram photo dumps.
Recently she's shown us a summery, silky midi dress she'll presumably be wearing when she takes a well-deserved holiday and a quirky carabiner mini by up-and-coming brand Chopova Lowena. Beats the sweats and hoodie we're normally found in when we're having some down time...
Today, she's reminded us once again that she's the queen of casual style. Posting to Instagram earlier today, she seemed to be throwing back to classic dystopian action film The Matrix. With a high-shine trench coat and thigh high boots it's giving major 90s minimalism, with a slicked-back bun to boot.
Underneath her minimalist trench coat she's rocking a black button-up shirt dress which has a bit of a military vibe thanks to epaulette-style detailing on her shoulders. But sadly we can't imagine her long metallic purple nails passing uniform inspection – or her impressive dangling earrings.
