Dua Lipa Ditches Her Eyebrows for Sultry Album Shoot: See Her Shocking Beauty Look!

The singer got a major makeover behind the scenes of her latest music project

Dua Lipa, is that you?!

The British singer, 28, underwent a major transformation behind the scenes of her forthcoming third studio album, Radical Optimism. In a video montage shared to Instagram on Tuesday, April 2, Lipa is seen posing for photos in preparation for her latest project — and in one moment, she’s seemingly missing her signature bushy eyebrows entirely.

“Album moments,” she captioned the post. “I hear you… feeling optimistic about this week.”

The video includes clips of Lipa posing in a variety of ensembles. She swims through crystal-blue water dripping in gold and silver jewelry, splashes in the water in a black bikini and even hangs upside down, letting her crimson locks cascade toward the ground. For her most attention-grabbing look, Lipa poses over a mirror, her eyebrows seemingly missing. Her long hair is slicked behind her ears and she’s sporting ultra-glowy makeup, giving the star a chic, futuristic vibe.

Upon closer inspection it’s evident that Lipa’s eyebrows have simply been bleached, but the effect is jarringly different from her usual fluffy and full brow look. At the 2024 Brit Awards in March, the “Levitating” singer wore a black, latex Versace fishtail gown and daring black eye makeup look, her full brows prominently on display.

At the London premiere of her movie Argylle in January 2024, Lipa once again complemented her luscious brows with smokey eye makeup. She also sported beachy waves, figure-hugging maroon Gucci sequin dress and a serpent choker necklace.

With her recent look, Lipa joins the ranks of celebrities who have embraced the bleached brow trend. Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Jonathan Van Ness and Julia Fox have all tried the daring and divisive style, which is a sure-fire way to dramatically change up your look. Bleach eyebrows have also cropped up on the runways; it emerged as a massive trend among both models and guests at Paris Fashion Week in 2022.

Based on Lipa’s video, it’s possible fans can expect to see the star rocking her own take on bleached brows on the cover of her upcoming album, which is set to release on May 3. Lipa dropped the second single from Radical Optimism, “Training Season” in February 2024. The release followed her November 2023 single “Houdini,” which she performed as part of a medley at the 2024 Grammys along with her Grammy-nominated song “Dance the Night” from Barbie.
