Drone Footage Captures Wind-Driven Colorado Fires

A state of emergency was declared by Colorado Gov Jared Polis on Thursday, December 30, after winds that gusted up to 115 mph blew southeast of Boulder, exacerbating wildfires that led to the sudden evacuation of thousands of residents.

Local officials ordered the evacuation of Louisville and Superior, amid what the National Weather Service described as “life threatening” conditions.
