Driver of Stolen Ambulance Arrested After Multi-City Police Chase in Michigan

A man was arrested after allegedly stealing an ambulance and leading police on a multi-city chase in Melvindale, Michigan, on June 21, according to a news report.

Melvindale Police Chief Dan Jones told local media that a man stole the ambulance from a convenience store in Taylor before driving across Southgate and Detroit, with police chasing behind, before ending up in Melvindale.

Two police officers were injured and three police vehicles were damaged in the chase, according to a news report.
