Drew Gulak Pulled From Multiple Appearances, No Creative Plans For Him

A new report provides an update on Drew Gulak’s status.

Drew Gulak came under scrutiny after Ronda Rousey claimed that he grabbed the string of her sweatpants backstage. Gulak addressed her comments and said that it was accidental. The former Cruiserweight Champion was notably absent from the April 9 episode of NXT, and he was removed from the No Quarter Catch Crew’s entrance video.

Corey Brennan of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that Drew Gulak was pulled from multiple appearances over WrestleMania weekend. He was also removed from his seat at the Hall of Fame ceremony. Brennan writes that a producer noticed that Gulak was sitting near someone that was close to Rousey’s inner circle of friends.

Per Brennan, Gulak was not listed on internal rundowns for NXT on Tuesday, and he was not seen backstage. Fightful‘s Sean Ross Sapp reports that there are no creative plans for Gulak at this time.
