Dre and Pops meet Zoey's boyfriend Luca grown-ish first look
Time to meet the parents on grown-ish.
Black-ish‘s Anthony Anderson and Laurence Fishburne — who play Zoey’s father Dre and grandfather Pops, respectively, on the ABC sitcom — will guest star on the March 6 installment of the spin-off. In the episode, Dre and Pops visit CalU for Parents Weekend, where they come face to face Zoey’s boyfriend Luca (Luka Sabbat) — and EW has your exclusive first look at this potentially awkward meeting below (If you’ve watched black-ish at all, then you known Dre will definitely make meeting Luca a thing).
Based on the episode’s official logline, that isn’t the only source of drama. Zoey is also “dealing with the repercussions of her previous academic decisions,” and the rest of her friends “have their own drama to face,” too.
Grown-ish airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on Freeform.
