Is Drake's Latest Move an Indication that He's Feuding with Justin Bieber?
Back on December 26th, the pop star, Justin Bieber, rented out his hometown Canadian arena, Allman Arena for a pickup hockey game with several of his friends who just so happen to be Toronto Maple Leaf players including Mitch Marner, Tyson Barrie, and Auston Matthews.
After the group had concluded their game, they posed in a picture to commemorate the outing along with the caption "Got out on the ice with all of my childhood hockey buddies oh and these 3 legends". Enter Drake who took the photo and had a little fun. He inserted a picture of himself as a child along with the group in the ultimate troll.

Superimposing a Picture with Himself
Drake's superimposed version came with the caption "@justinbieber @austonmatthews good shoot around with the boys shout out to all the puck bunnies that came to watch greatness."
But was this a nefarious move or was it all in jest? While sounding like he was having some serious FOMO, sources told HollywoodLife! that this was just a little joke between the Hotline Bling rapper and Bieber.
"Justin’s friends with Drake and he thought his joke was hilarious, he didn’t take offense to it or take it seriously," the source shared.
Justin Took It As a Compliment
"It was actually a huge compliment for Justin because he thinks very highly of Drake, it was flattering! And Drake might actually get an invite next time, Justin would be happy to skate with him. But the question is will Drake actually be able to keep up?" the continued.
"Justin takes hockey seriously and he’s really good, he’s been playing since he was five years old, it’s his thing. And so are his friends, in Stratford, hockey is life."
Bieber was so adamant about playing some hockey in his hometown with close friends that he rented out the whole arena. The source revealed,"Justin rented out his hometown arena for the game, it’s where he grew up going and playing so it was really extra special and no doubt he’ll do it again."
Both Justin and Hailey Got a Good Laugh Out of It
Another source speaking on the speaking on the joke shared, "Justin and Drake have always had a playful banter with each other so when Justin saw what he posted, he cracked up."
And accordingly, his wife, Hailey Baldwin, also thought the stunt was hilarious. "Justin and Hailey had a good laugh about it and people shouldn’t be surprised if they see Justin come back at Drake with something just as funny," they said.
Despite clarity being provided on the relationship between Bieber and Drake, some people still think that there might be some tensions and a drawn-out feud between the two.
Good Friends
There is no merit to those claims, though, as Justin and Drake have been friends for quite some time. "Drake and Justin are friends, all this was and will forever be is a joke because there is no feud between the two," a third choice explained.
"Drake is Toronto through and through so he was jealous only because it was a cool thing and he had a fear of missing out on the moment and chose to joke about it because he knew Justin could take it and is looking forward to Justin’s joke on him. It’s almost something you’d see with Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds, they give each other crap but it is all just for the fun of it all."
It's likely that Justin will come back with some prank of his own and we'll be anxiously awaiting it in whatever capacity it arrives.
