Drake Reveals Album Release Date, Throws “Degrassi” Reunion in New “I’m Upset” Video: Watch

His new album Scorpion is imminent

Drake has revealed more details about his next studio album Scorpion. The follow-up to last year’s More Life is set to arrive June 29. Drake also shared the below artwork, which could be the album cover; Pitchfork has reached out to Drake’s representatives for comment.

He’s also reunited the cast of “Degrassi” for the new video for his previously released single “I’m Upset.” The visual features his co-stars Ephraim Ellis (Rick Murray), Nina Dobrev (Mia Jones), Lauren Collins (Paige Brooks), Shane Kippel (Gavin "Spinner" Mason), Stefan Brogran (Archie “Snake” Simpson), and many others. Jay and Silent Bob—Kevin Smith’s signature creations—are also there. The clip is directed by Karena Evans, who helmed the visuals for “Nice for What” and “God’s Plan.”

Prior to sharing “I’m Upset,” Drake released “Nice for What.” The latter came with a video featuring female stars like Olivia Wilde, Rashida Jones, Tiffany Haddish, Tracee Ellis Ross, and many more. Later this summer, he heads out on tour with Migos for a schedule of dates that last through 2018.

Drake’s other recent song was “Duppy Freestyle,” a diss track that took aim at Pusha-T and Kanye West. The track was a response to Pusha’s Daytona song “Infrared.” After Pusha released his response “The Story of Adidon,” Drake shared a statement explaining the blackface photo Pusha utilized as single artwork.
